You can ask us to delete your PLATOO account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what we remove, and the limited records we are legally required to keep.
By email
Email support@platoo.co.uk from the email address on your PLATOO account, with the subject line "Delete my account". Sending it from your account email lets us verify the request. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.
In the app
Sign in at platoo.co.uk → Profile → Delete my account. Your account and personal data are removed immediately once you confirm.
If you signed in with Google or Apple, we delete the connection on our side. You can also revoke PLATOO's access from your Google or Apple account security settings.
We are legally required to retain order invoices and transaction records for 7 years to meet UK tax and accounting obligations (HMRC). We keep these records only for that purpose and minimise the personal data they contain where possible. Everything else linked to your account is deleted.
